Create A Password Algorithm

Now that you understand what a password algorithm is, it is time for you to create your own password algorithm.  Start by making a copy of the Password Algorithms handout 

Part 1: Original Algorithm Instructions: 

1. Follow the steps listed in the video below to design a personal password algorithm.
   *Stop and rewind the video as needed.

2. Use your original algorithm to create 5 passwords and list those on the handout. 

Part 2: Revised Algorithm Instructions:

1. Find a someone who can test your algorithm. See if they can understand it and provide you with feedback or suggestions for changes that may be needed. 

2. Using this feedback (along with your own thoughts/reflections), make revisions to your algorithm, and create 5 passwords using your revised algorithm. 

Part 3: Improvements Instructions: 

1. Everything can always be better. Take some time to reflect and think about how you improved your algorithm. Then, identify at least two improvements you made to your revised algorithm.
